Demi Lovato Comics
Yes, I am a Lovatic since 2008, when she appeared in Camp Rock and released her debut album "Don't Forget". I was amazed at the high notes her voice can reach, which for me was very rare in the Disney realm. I was also fascinated by her rock influences, and I was intrigued by the fact that she listens to metal. I even remember her saying that she secretly wants to record "pig screams"/growls for a metal band!I just attended her concert earlier this year, and I was blown away by how solid her voice sounds when she is performing live.
Anyways, here are some Demi Lovato Comics that i have been doing lately on my iPhone using the app "Comic Book". I have been posting these at the group "Filipino Lovatics" in order to gather support for her song "Heart Attack", which has been lingering at/near the top of the charts of the Filipino music channel Myx (www.myxph.com)

Circuit Fest 2013
We arrived at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds in Makati (the former Sta. Ana Racetrack) at around 5 PM and the place was HUGE. It's supposed to house 20,000 people but there's just so much space. People were having picnics (or maybe they were just sitting on mats in the ground :p ) and there was a lot of space to run around. Circle pits formed in the front and people were running and dancing to the music. A lot of energy emanated from these young acts.
The rain, which came and went, did not deter the audience from rocking out to the acts, which were very appreciative of all the support they were getting from their enthusiastic Filipino fans. I did not take too many pictures because I was too busy having fun (--,)

Music
It was very exhilarating to watch We Are the In Crowd for the first time. Front woman Taylor Jardine is my replacement for Hayley Williams (--,)
Kids going wild for Mayday Parade (who played the Philippines twice already). I felt really old because the kids in front of me were like, high school students o_O

About
John Mark Arcilla is a law student and a licensed geologist from the Philippines who wants to conquer the world one bedroom recording at a time.
His "Bedroom Sounds" EPs have been featured on the now-defunct Philippine rock station nU107 in 2010. He also contributed two songs, "Nasaan" and "Takbo" to the soundtrack of the CinemaOne Originals 2010 film "Tsardyer".
His album "Bedroom Sounds, Vols. 1 and 2" is available on iTunes and in major digital retailers. At the age of eight years old, using a guitar and four chords his father taught him, he started to write and record silly one-minute songs on his tape recorder.
At the age of 12, he pieced together short sound files and read passages from his parents' law books. He re-learned the guitar at age 14 and wrote his first decent song at age 15 when he put a melody to one of his poems. He formed bands with his high school friends, and ended up writing their high school graduation song.
Since 2003, he has been recording his songs in his bedroom, playing all the instruments and doing all the mixing. His recording setup eventually evolved from from a single computer mic to a "full-fledged bedroom recording setup." Today he continues to hone his songwriting skills, record more songs, and improve his recording setup, all in the comfort of his bedroom.
